The significant objective for the school is to provide various platforms to the children that ensures their holistic development and nurtures their innate curiosity and intrinsic uniqueness. In consonance with this objective, as part of the regular routine through the academic year, the children are involved and exposed to a well defined and comprehensive Co-curricular Programme that develops leadership skills, self reliance, self confidence, self discipline and a strong value system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row rrm1 d-flex align-items-center\">\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"img-lft-cl6\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2764 img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/tsms.org.in\/nagpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/co-curricular-initiatives1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"txt-lft-cl6\">\n<h4>Health &amp; Physical Education<\/h4>\n<p>The school\u2019s Health and Physical Education programme is a modern, comprehensive physical education curriculum which focuses on a holistic concept of health. It helps the students to critically evaluate the opportunities and challenges associated with a fast paced lifestyle that has become a norm in today\u2019s world, and teaches them to develop an attitude of healthy living and well being. The programme aims at acquisition of movement skills and building specific sport related skills.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-12\">\nThrough participation in various physical activities and sports, the students improve their physical skills and fitness and become aware of the important role that motivation, enthusiasm, initiative, self-discipline, self-respect, cooperation and the assumption of responsibility play in the maintenance of a healthy society.<\/p>\n<p>Under the programme, the students participate in the following age appropriate activities:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"clm2\">\n<li>Healthy living<\/li>\n<li>Track and Field activities<\/li>\n<li>Soccer<\/li>\n<li>Basket Ball<\/li>\n<li>Badminton<\/li>\n<li>Cricket<\/li>\n<li>Callisthenics<\/li>\n<li>Gymnastics<\/li>\n<li>Taekwondo<\/li>\n<li>Yoga<\/li>\n<li>Indoor Games<\/li>\n<li>Adventure Sports Programme \u2013 within and outside the school campus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row rrm1 d-flex align-items-center\">\n<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n<h4>Shri Sahyog<\/h4>\n<p>Through our Shri Sahyog initiative, we encourage and motivate children from early years to work with communities and contribute meaningfully to causes and issues that help in the development of the society.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"txt-lft-cl6\">\nInculcating sensitivity towards all communities and fostering in our children a sense of responsibility and desire to be agents of social change, is our objective with Shri Sahyog. Our children across school are involved in the school\u2019s social development initiative through collection drives on major festivals and relevant events celebrated in school to support various NGOs and their efforts to make our world a better place. Awareness campaigns and bake sales are organised by the children to support various causes. The students also work in social communities in villages on projects such as cleanliness, health and hygiene, literacy, population control, environment and water conservation, to name a few.\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"img-lft-cl6\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2763 img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/tsms.org.in\/nagpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Co-Curricular-Initiatives-01a.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row rrm1 d-flex align-items-center\">\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"img-lft-cl6\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2765 img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/tsms.org.in\/nagpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Co-Curricular-Initiatives-01b.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"txt-lft-cl6\">\n<h4>Performing Arts (Music, Dance, Theatre)<\/h4>\n<p>At TSMS, we have a well defined and age appropriate Performing Arts programme. Children from early years are provided an exposure to various genres in dance, Indian and Western Music and theatre. From middle school, the students have the option of taking any one discipline in either Indian vocal or instrumental music; dance or theatre and stay with that discipline for three years till Class VIII. Regular training is provided by our versatile Performing Arts team during school hours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row rrm1 d-flex align-items-center\">\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"txt-lft-cl6\">\n<h4>Visual Arts Programme<\/h4>\n<p>At TSMS, a comprehensive and age appropriate Visual Arts curriculum is followed for each class from early years to the senior classes in the following disciplines:<\/p>\n<h5>Art<\/h5>\n<p>Our Art curriculum including the Art 1st Programme that has been implemented in the school, is aimed at providing graded learning and is also integrated with the curriculum through various activities done at each level. The students are exposed to a variety of Indian and global art forms and artists in their regular art classes and gain an appreciation of different forms of Art. The effort put in by children as well as their creativity is regularly showcased through regular displays throughout the school campus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"img-lft-cl6\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2766 img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/tsms.org.in\/nagpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Co-Curricular-Initiatives-01c.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n<h5>Clay Modelling<\/h5>\n<p>Clay modelling and sculpture is a key component of the learning process here at TSMS. A regular period is set aside for children to explore and work with this medium. This provides an opportunity for children, not only to unleash their creativity and develop their fine motor skills but is also therapeutic.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row rrm1 d-flex align-items-center\">\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"img-lft-cl6\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2767 img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/tsms.org.in\/nagpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Co-Curricular-Initiatives-01d.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"txt-lft-cl6\">\n<h4>Environment Initiative<\/h4>\n<p>TSMS\u2019s commitment to the environment manifests itself in the school\u2019s detailed Environment Programme that is aimed at inculcating a sensitivity to the environment in our children along with engendering behaviour change on environment and implementing solutions and actions in the \u2018here and now\u2019. The TSMS Environment Programme is continuously enriched with a range of relevant activities and causes that enable the children to help protect the environment. As part of our environment programme and to create awareness about the damaging consequences of using polybags, the school is a \u2018No Polybag Zone\u2019. Various campaigns and drives will be organised to inculcate environment consciousness in the children as part of the curriculum.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row rrm1 d-flex align-items-center\">\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"txt-lft-cl6\">\n<h4>Clubs<\/h4>\n<p>In order to give exposure to children to activities other than academics and the routine co-curricular activities, the students of Classes IV and above will have the option of being a part of various Clubs as per their interest. As the school is committed to provide a range of learning experiences, the following Clubs will be initiated in the school:\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"img-lft-cl6\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2768 img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/tsms.org.in\/nagpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Co-Curricular-Initiatives-01e.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n<ul class=\"clm2\">\n<li>Literary Club<\/li>\n<li>Debate and Elocution Club<\/li>\n<li>Home Science Club<\/li>\n<li>Health and Wellness Club<\/li>\n<li>Performing Art Club with a choice of Western and Indian Instrumental and Vocal Music, Dance, Theatre<\/li>\n<li>Visual Arts Club that includes Art and Clay<\/li>\n<li>Quiz Club<\/li>\n<li>Math Club<\/li>\n<li>Science Club<\/li>\n<li>Computer Club<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row rrm1 d-flex align-items-center\">\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"img-lft-cl6\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2769 img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/tsms.org.in\/nagpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Co-Curricular-Initiatives-01f.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"txt-lft-cl6\">\n<h4>Houses<\/h4>\n<p>The School follows the traditional House system which serves to instill in children team spirit and serves as a platform for children to exhibit their skill in various activities through regular Inter House events such as Quiz, Elocution, Debate, One act plays, Dance, Sports, Art and Craft and others. The points accumulated for various activities are declared and the coveted Trophy of the Best House is given on our Annual Sports Day. The students are part of four Houses which are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"clm2\">\n<li>Shaurya<\/li>\n<li>Shakti<\/li>\n<li>Pratigya<\/li>\n<li>Pratibha<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"lft-bdy\">\n<h2>Student Council<\/h2>\n<p>The School has a Junior School and a Senior School Student Council. The Council includes main positions such as the President of the Student Council, Head of Sports, Head of Activities, Head of Editorial Board and Head of Environment from Senior school. The position of the House Captains, Vice Captains, Members of Editorial Board, Members of Environment Club are divided amongst the Junior, Middle and Senior School. The selection and appointment of the given positions is based on nominations by students and Teachers, Campaigning by nominated candidates, voting and final interview with a panel of teachers. Our Student Advisor shares the roles and responsibilities, does expectation management and supports the children to take on and fulfill these leadership roles successfully.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row rrm1 d-flex align-items-center\">\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"img-lft-cl6\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2770 img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/tsms.org.in\/nagpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Co-Curricular-Initiatives-01g.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"txt-lft-cl6\">\n<h4>Trips &amp; Excursions<\/h4>\n<p>Trips and excursions to places of interest provide enriching educational experiences and serves as an extension to classroom learning. All classes go for day trips in and around the city. Class IV children have an overnight camp in the school campus with a range of fun activities organised for them. Class V onwards, children are also taken on out-station trips. These trips provide opportunities for children to learn to be more independent and responsible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row rrm1 d-flex align-items-center\">\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<div class=\"txt-lft-cl6\">\n<h4>SPIC MACAY<\/h4>\n<p>Our association with SPIC MACAY enables us to provide our children an exposure to the rich and vibrant cultural heritage of our country through a host of events organised in the school.
