Its primary aim is to provide both feedback and feedforward, supporting students&#8217; ongoing progress within the program. Assessment encompasses three key aspects: assessment for learning, which offers ongoing feedback to guide progress; assessment of learning, which measures achievement at specific points; and assessment as learning, which encourages student reflection and ownership of their learning journey. Designed to be continuous and diverse, assessments are structured to reflect and track students&#8217; understanding and development over time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It is framed by four main dimensions, which help in evaluating students holistically:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitoring learning: Continuous observation and informal assessments (e.g., checklists, success criteria, anecdotal notes) to track student progress.<\/li>\n<li>Documenting learning: Recording the learning process using portfolios, journals, and work samples to capture student growth over time.<\/li>\n<li>Measuring learning: Formal assessments (reflections, projects, presentations) to evaluate student achievement against learning objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting on learning: Assessment results are communicated to stakeholders through written reports, conferences, or exhibitions.
